2. NFL Teams That Should Be On Upset Alert In Week 16 – Cincinnati Bengals

Few teams in the NFL are hotter than Cincinnati, which ripped off its sixth consecutive win on Sunday to climb to the top of the AFC North standings. The Bengals actually spotted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17 points before ripping off 34 unanswered to turn a potential upset into a rout.

There is a clear opportunity for the Bengals to claim their second straight division title thanks to an ill-timed injury for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has missed the past two games with a knee issue. Baltimore is hoping to get Jackson back soon and does have a Week 18 trip to Cincinnati that could determine the division winner.

There is still business for the Bengals to take care of ahead of that game, however, including Saturday’s trip to New England to take on the 7-7 Patriots. The oddsmakers have installed the Bengals as 3.5-point favorites but going to Foxboro in December is never an easy task against a rugged New England defense.

This game is also of vital importance to New England, which may need to run the table to ensure they get back to the playoffs for a second straight year. Looking past the Patriots could be a recipe for Cincinnati to get upset and open the division race back up for Baltimore.
