3. Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. CAR)

The Bucs constantly either losing games or keeping them highly contested has benefited Chris Godwin significantly. He’s had at least five catches in 12-straight games, which is an absurd streak. That is largely due to his team-leading 18.8% target share. He’s seen at least six targets over that span as well.

Godwin’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers is a favorable one, due to Carolina’s 18th-ranked pass defense that allows the eighth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. They’ve been playing tough football lately, but nobody has been able to slow down Godwin, and I’m not betting on a team that just lost their top cornerback to be the first.

Godwin always has a high floor in fantasy football, which his why he’s climbed up to the overall WR19 in PPR scoring even after missing several games with an injury. Godwin has top-15 upside this week, as the matchup provides more opportunity for him to dominate.
