Here’s everything you need to know about who plays on Monday Night Football and where you can catch all of the action.
It’s a new year, but the NFL season is almost over. There’s only one Monday Night Football game left on the schedule and it’s shaping up to be a doozy.
There will be one more ESPN/ABC game featuring Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, though. The NFL scheduled the Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game in Week 18 for Saturday night. That will be a nationally broadcast game simulcast on ABC as well as appearing on ESPN as MNF usually does.
There is technically one more Monday Night Football game on but it’ll be the final game on Wild Card weekend.

Monday Night Football is sometimes hit-and-miss, but the season finale is quite the doozy. Buffalo and Cincinnati are meeting in a battle with a lot on the line, not the least of which is the AFC North crown.
The Bills can’t win it, obviously, but the Bengals are lined up to clinch the division crown with a win tonight. Doing so would earn Cincinnati a home game in the playoffs and keep it in the running for the No. 1 seed.
Beating the Bills would give the Bengals a tiebreak over both Buffalo and Kansas City. That means a Chiefs loss on Saturday afternoon would put the Bengals a win away from clinching home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The flip side of that coin is Buffalo falling down to Wild Card weekend. Right now Buffalo controls the No. 1 seed and beating the Bengals would narrow the field down to just the Chiefs. Buffalo would just need a win on Sunday to clinch the No. 1 seed, but that would mean beating the Patriots — who aren’t an easy foe to begin with and are in their own win-and-in scenario.

The Cincinnati Bengals will have played in five primetime games, with the fifth being this Monday Night showdown with the Bills. The NFL could have flexed next week’s game against the Ravens into the Sunday Night slot but it ended up going with the Packers-Lions game instead meaning the Bengals will end the season with five primetime games.

It’s been a minute since the Buffalo Bills were on Monday Night Football, but they had a great time their last go around. Buffalo destroyed the Tennessee Titans 41-7 back in Week 2 on MNF.
Last time Cincinnati Bengals won on Monday Night Football?
The Cincinnati Bengals last played on Monday Night Football earlier this year but lost to the Cleveland Browns. To find the last Bengals win on MNF, you’ll have to go all the way back to December 21, 2020, which was a 27-17 win over the Steelers.
