Andy Dalton one of the top donors to Damar Hamlin’s charity
Damar Hamlin’s charity has received millions of dollars in the wake of his horrific ordeal. One of the biggest donors is former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton.
Once upon a time, a touchdown pass by then-Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton sent the Bills to the playoffs and ended a long playoff drought in Orchard Park.
Since then, Dalton has become a beloved figure by Bills Mafia, and recently, his latest ordeal has touched their hearts yet again, albeit in a precarious and horrific situation.
Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin collapsed during a Monday Night football game between the Bengals and the Bills and was transported to a local hospital. Hamlin is still in critical condition. Our prayers go out to his family.
Since the ordeal, donations have been flooding in for Hamlin’s Toy Drive, with contributions exceeding $4 million in the wake of this scary ordeal. Dalton was among those who contributed to the fund, donating $3,000 and being one of the high donors.
Bills: Andy Dalton supports Damar Hamlin’s charity
At the end of the day, it’s more about life than it is about picking up a ball and providing entertainment. We all love football, but nothing else matters besides Damar’s health.
It’s also a blessing to see that someone like Dalton is dedicated to helping others in need while spreading awareness and offering his prayers and support. There is no question that Bills mafia is thrilled with this and will continue to support Dalton’s efforts.
Again, our thoughts are still with Hamlin and his family. But it is truly remarkable to see that his cause is getting the funding it needs to thrive, and kudos to Dalton for being a model citizen and giving back to a Bills player even though he never took a snap for the team.
