Bart Scott spewed insensitivity towards Tee Higgins regarding the Damar Hamlin ordeal, and Micah Parsons wasn’t having any of it and proceeded to blast the analyst.
Bart Scott has now replaced Skip Bayless for having the worst take or tweet about the Monday Night Football horror show, and Micah Parsons confirmed that.
The Dallas Cowboys linebacker eviscerated the ESPN analyst for his insensitive and pathetic take of blaming Cincinnati wide receiver Tee Higgins for the freak accident that resulted in Bills safety Damar Hamlin being in the hospital.
Yoo are we serious?!!?why do we let some people speak on tv?! This was a freak incident but putting fault on another player is wild! They should make some of these guys go over lines or something or not even give them a seat at the table! https://t.co/ctJVfu6cuf

Like does not even consider how tee Huggins feels before airing some bull shut like that! That traumatic event he just went through! I swear some of these tv guys have too much egos on these stages we give them !

Parsons wasn’t the only one to blast Scott for his ignorance; social media also was ablaze, and many sided with the Cowboys’ star pass rusher.
He called for the Ravens to headhunt the Bengals last year. He’s awful.

Preach! Praying intensely for Damar! He is an amazing human being! The facts will come out over time as to what caused a healthy 24 year old go into cardiac arrest - that is not normal. Seems unlikely it was football related. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Never forget Bart Scott called for Ravens players to wrap Joe Burrow up by the knees and slam his head into to the turf a few years ago

Micah Parsons blasted Bart Scott for his pathetic take on Tee Higgins regarding Damar Hamlin’s unfortunate incident
Tee Higgins is already going through enough pain and has now received death threats from “fans” after what happened to Damar Hamlin.
There is not a word that is bad enough to describe the people that are commenting these things on Tee Higgins’ posts pic.twitter.com/MsdH6u6mnZ

Bart Scott is not helping the cause by providing this nonsense. Also, this isn’t the first incident of Scott going after Bengals players. No one will forget Scott’s comments on quarterback Joe Burrow that amounted to a “bounty” on the young signal-caller. The world came for Scott, and that right there should have amounted to at least a fine or suspension, but no message came forth. This was also unnecessary, and fans absolutely have a right to complain.
Hot takes seem to be the norm these days, but this was not a hot take. This was just flat-out disgraceful, and hopefully, ESPN will do something about this because this kind of behavior is unacceptable regardless of who the person is. Kudos to Micah Parsons for putting Scott on blast, and here’s hoping he won’t be the last to do so.
