Lamar Jackson Dark Horse No. 3: Indianapolis Colts

The Colts? Them? Well, given the merry-go-round of quarterbacks they’ve had since Andrew Luck called it a career, it’s possible. Additionally, it makes sense. They have enough talent to win their division, and given how Jacksonville seems to be coming up and Houston is in a position to change their luck, and Tennesee being who they are, the Colts need a new signal-caller.

Despite their troubles this year, the Colts still have one of the better offensive lines in the country, and they have a defense that, if healthy and fresh, can be opportunistic. They just need the right quarterback. Lamar Jackson can be that guy.

It’s highly unlikely the Colts will make such a move, but it’s worth exploring because they need a signal caller, relying on a rookie may not be a good idea, and elderly vets aren’t helping in the Hoosier state. Jackson can help from Day One.
