The Los Angeles Chargers have made the playoffs for the first time in the Justin Herbert era. Here’s who they’ll play and when, updated.

The Los Angeles Chargers found their franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert, but the team was unable to get to the playoffs in his first two seasons. The team was close to doing so in 2021, but they lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in a chaotic final game of that season. But the third season was the charm for the Chargers.

Entering the season, Los Angeles was expected to contend in what was a much tougher AFC West on paper entering the 2022 season. Even with the Denver Broncos and Raiders underperforming, the Chargers were able to hold their own and win 10 games on the season.

Back in Week 16, Los Angeles defeated the Indianapolis Colts 20-3 to clinch one of the AFC’s three Wild Card spots. With that, they made the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Here is what the Chargers’ playoff schedule will look like with the regular season officially over.

How to watch Los Angeles Chargers playoff games?

NFL playoff games will be airing on CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC, and ESPN. For ESPN, they will have the rights to one Wild Card Round matchup, but it’s currently unknown which teams will play in that slot.

AFC games are mostly aired on CBS, so that should be a go-to channel for Chargers fans.

How to stream Los Angeles Chargers playoff games?

All of the channels listed above are available to stream on the fuboTV, which is offering a free seven-day trial, which you can sign up for at this link.

What seed are the Los Angeles Chargers?

The Chargers have received the No. 5 seed, which is the top Wild Card spot in the AFC. They entered Week 18 with no way to increase their seeding, as the Baltimore Ravens lost earlier in the day to the Cincinnati Bengals.
