The Oklahoma City Thunder have a chance to upset the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, as Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro are both out for this game.
OKC has won two games in a row, and the team is close to the play-in tournament in the Western Conference.
If you’re not sold on betting on a side in this game, there are plenty of player props to choose from as well. Here are three I’m considering for this matchup:
Thunder vs. Heat best NBA prop bets
- Jimmy Butler UNDER 41.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
- Shai Gilgeous Alexander OVER 30.5 Points
- Jimmy Butler UNDER 6.5 Assists
Jimmy Butler UNDER 41.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
Jimmy Butler’s PRA prop is inflated in a big way with so many key players out, but he’s failed to go over this in 10 straight games.
There’s a chance that Butler has a big game tonight, but the Heat may also just struggle mightily on offense to get anything going. Butler went over this on Dec. 2, but just one other time in 27 games this season.
This number may be a little inflated for him on Tuesday night.
Shai Gilgeous Alexander OVER 30.5 Points
SGA is averaging 30.9 points per game this season, and he’s cleared this line in five of his last 10 games.
The Heat won’t have their defensive anchor in Adebayo tonight, and I think Gilgeous-Alexander is able to get to the rim at will against Miami.
SGA does a great job of getting to the line, and he’s a matchup nightmare for Gabe Vincent, Butler or whoever the Heat end up putting on him.
Jimmy Butler UNDER 6.5 Assists
I think Butler’s primary job in this game is going to be scoring the basketball, and he’s gone UNDER 6.5 assists in seven of his last eight games.
The Heat star is averaging just 5.6 assists per game on the season, and now he’s playing without Herro, Adebayo and Kyle Lowry, arguably the team’s next three best players.
I don’t see the Heat making enough shots for Butler to go over this number tonight.
