Sean Payton and Aaron Rodgers can team up for these 3 franchises

NFL rumors: Broncos pair Aaron Rodgers and Sean Payton
After acquiring Russell Wilson for a boatload of players and draft picks, the Denver Broncos don’t have much left to give. However, what from Wilson this season would led Denver to believe he has anything left, either?
Wilson is younger than Rodgers, so it’s rare to see a Hall-of-Fame caliber quarterback simply lose it. Odds are, Wilson can regain some of his confidence with the right play-caller, but does Denver really want to take that chance?
Rodgers and Payton would be a dynamite combination from the jump. The only issue is acquiring both of them. The Broncos have long been enamored by Rodgers — it’s why they made his offensive coordinator their head coach last season. Yet, Rodgers stayed in Green Bay, so the Broncos made a big splash with Wilson instead. Turns out, maybe they should have remained persistent on No. 12.
Payton is already interviewing for the Denver job in a few days. His interest is not predicated on bringing in a player like Rodgers, as the Broncos already have plenty of money tied up in Wilson. However, if they want to ensure a Payton tenure in Denver ends with at least one Super Bowl, trading for Rodgers might be their best bet. Playing in the same division as Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes won’t help matters.
