The Minnesota Vikings have a home game during Super Wild Card Weekend on Sunday, January 15th. When should fans have the TV ready to rock?

The Minnesota Vikings might be one of the most controversial playoff teams seeded three or higher in quite some time. For a while, the Vikings had one of the best records in the NFC, yet were questioned by plenty as a legitimate playoff threat due to their negative point differential.

Starting this weekend, we get to find out for sure. Is the purple team for real? Or are they posers?

For context, their first playoff matchup is the New York Giants, who have an even worse scoring differential (-6) this season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-45) are the only playoff team worse than these two (the Vikings are -3). That could be bad news for whatever team comes out of the NFC to face the eventual AFC Champion. Might be a beatdown on February 12th.

These two teams did face off earlier this season, with the Vikings coming out with a 3-point victory. That game was also played in US Bank Stadium.
