Lamar Jackson has been out for more than a month with a knee injury, but will the Ravens QB suit back up in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs?

It’s been a while since the Baltimore Ravens have seen Lamar Jackson on the field. He last suited up on Dec. 4 as the starter against the Broncos but left that game in the first half with a knee injury. Now with his team in the playoffs, he’s still not back on the field.

Tyler Huntley and UDFA rookie Anthony Brown have made starts in Jackson’s absence but that significantly lowers the floor of the offense. Jackson is a former NFL MVP for a reason and his dynamic ability makes that side of the ball exponentially more dangerous.

However, with the Ravens leading the Bengals at halftime, fans were wondering if Lamar Jackson would play in the Divisional Round if Baltimore advanced.

Will Lamar Jackson play for Ravens in Divisional Round of NFL Playoffs?

The truth of the matter is that we don’t know. Prior to the Wild Card Round, Jackson tweeted out a statement on his health that revealed he still had swelling in his knee after suffering a PCL sprain and that it remained “unstable”.

But there is more in play than just Jackson’s knee. As he’s set to become a free agent this offseason, many have speculated that he’s done with Baltimore and is ready to move on. This notion was only fueled in the Wild Card matchup with the Bengals when he didn’t travel with the team to Cincinnati.

Having said all of this, though, I doubt Jackson would hold out of the Divisional Round game if he is fully healthy, even if he does plan to leave. It all depends on if he sees progress in his condition and if he feels comfortable playing on the knee.
