The Buffalo Bills are set to play in the NFL’s Super Wild Card Weekend on Sunday, January 15. Here’s what time they’re scheduled for.
The Buffalo Bills are in the playoffs once again. After an emotional close to the season boosted by the amazing recovery for Damar Hamlin, the Bills didn’t get the No. 1 seed but will have home-field advantage until, at worst, a neutral site game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship if both teams make it that far. The Chiefs secured the No. 1 seed but, since the two teams played an inequal amount of games, the NFL is neutralizing the location.
Both teams need to get there, first, though. The Bills will need to win two games while Kansas City has a bye and needs to win just one.
First up for the Bills is their division rival, the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo split the season series with Miami losing a very hot game early in the year in Miami, and winning a very cold game at home. Perhaps home field, and the weather specifically, will play a sizable advantage.
Of course, the Dolphins’ biggest factor is also their starting quarterback. Tua Tagovailoa is out with a concussion and will not play on Sunday. Instead, Skylar Thompson, a rookie, will get the start.
As such, it’s a game tilted very much in Buffalo’s favor. The winner of this game advances to the divisional round.
Here’s what time the game is and where you can watch.
