The Dallas Cowboys clinched their spot in the playoffs in 2022 after a 12-5 season as the top Wild Card team in the NFC. This is yet another season in which Dallas made the playoffs, with the goal of finally making it to the Super Bowl and winning their sixth Lombardi Trophy. In fact, Dallas never even made it to the NFC Championship Game since that year.
Dallas will finally look to make it to the big game at the end of the campaign this year, but they’ll first have to get past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady in the Wild Card Round.

Dallas last won a playoff game back in the 2018 season, where they defeated the Seattle Seahawks 24-22 in the Wild Card Round.
The Cowboys won behind a big performance from running back Ezekiel Elliott, who took 26 carries for 137 yards and a touchdown.
Dallas dominated the time of possession, holding onto the football for 34 minutes and 50 seconds. Not just that, but the Cowboys defense limited the Seahawks to just 11 first downs and 73 yards rushing on 24 attempts (3.0 yards per carry).
After this win, Dallas lost in the Divisional Round to the Los Angeles Rams 30-22.
When’s the last time the Cowboys won a road playoff game?
Dallas hasn’t won a road playoff game since the 1992 season, when they defeated the 49ers 30-20. Micah Parsons is well aware of the Cowboys Super Bowl drought, but says the team knows they can’t control the past:
“I just can control what I can control. I can’t control the past, what guys did in the past, or what they did before. I can control what I do, what the guys in this room do. That’s all that matters to me,” Parsons said.

After defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC title game, the Cowboys clinched their spot in Super Bowl 30, where they faced the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dallas ended up winning the game 27-17.
Cornerback Larry Brown was named MVP of the game after recording two interceptions and returning them for 77 yards total.

Dallas has won five Super Bowl titles in their history. This total is tied for second in the NFL alongside the San Francisco 49ers. Both the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers hold the record for most Super Bowls won with six.
