2. Tom Brady and Josh McDaniels can rekindle the magic with the Raiders

There were plenty of times during Josh McDaniels’ first year as the head coach of the Raiders that he looked out of his depth. And many people were worried throughout the year that this was all going to end up being no different than his first head coaching stint with the Broncos.

But with the quarterback change coming, the prospect of reuniting Tom Brady with McDaniels is wholly enticing. The now-Raiders head coach was the offensive coordinator in New England alongside Brady when they won six Super Bowl championships together. And now he’d be coaching him in an offense with Davante Adams, Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow and more.

McDaniels may not be the right stuff as a head coach. However, a reunion with Brady might give him and Las Vegas the best chance at success.

1. It’s Tom freakin’ Brady…and he ain’t done yet

Plenty of jokes have been made about Brady this season with the Bucs struggling to win an admittedly bad NFC South in order to make it to the playoffs. The truth of the matter, though, is that Brady was not the problem. Offensive line and receiver injuries along with questionable coaching really put the legendary quarterback in bad spots quite often.

And yet, he still put up numbers and still got Tampa Bay into the playoffs. That should tell you what you need to know.

Brady might not be at the peak of his physical abilities, but the same accuracy and headiness that has led him to all of his success in the NFL are still apparent whenever he takes the field. Father Time hasn’t won against him yet and it’s hard to believe that a move to the Raiders would cause that to change, especially with the weapons that this offense would have for him to work with and if they improve the O-line this offseason as well.
