Predicting the best free agent the Atlanta Falcons will sign: James Bradberry, CB

Like the aforementioned Cardinals, the Atlanta Falcons also need a ton of help up front. They were just about dead last in the NFL in terms of sacks per game in 2022. But, the defense as a whole could use some help, and there are going to be plenty of available names to look at.

One of the better defensive backs out there comes by way of that vaunted Philadelphia Eagles secondary. It’s a secondary that the Eagles won’t likely be able to keep all together, and James Bradberry is going to be a victim of said situation.

Bradberry is a 7-year veteran and has played pretty well no matter where he’s landed. What’s made him even better this year is not having to be the star of the show. He’s one who plays extremely well in a unit with other talented players around him, too. He’s advantageous that way.

In Atlanta, Bradberry will play with AJ Terrell, a young, ascending corner who was taken in the first round three years ago. Getting a viable tandem at cornerback is going to be vital for a Falcons defense that gave up nearly 240 yards per game through the air. Atlanta has many needs, but Bradberry will end up being their top signing this spring.
