Julian Edelman has some disappointing news about Tom Brady
By Ryan Heckman
Where will Tom Brady play next year if he decides to run it back for another season?
This season ended in an ugly fashion for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Losing to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, in the first round of the NFL Playoffs, Brady heads home for an early offseason. But, will there even be an offseason?
In Brady’s postgame press conference, he said a lot without saying much at all. Of course, he would be asked about his future. The 45-year-old quarterback could hang it up now and nobody would question why. He’s done it all, and he’ll go down as the greatest to ever do it. But, what if he had one more season in him? Does he even have it in him?
A former teammate of his, wide receiver Julian Edelman, believes he knows what Brady is going to do, should he opt into playing one more year in the NFL.
Julian Edelman doesn’t see Tom Brady returning to the Bucs in 2023

“If he has another season, it’s not going to be in Tampa Bay… Tom is a business man. Tom’s a smart guy. He’s going to do exactly what he did when he left New England. He’s going to go to the best situation that helps him win if he wants to continue his playing career.”
As a businessman, I can assure you Brady would choose to go to a team that wouldn’t require him to throw the ball 66 times in a playoff blowout. That’s exactly what happened Monday night.
In fact, Brady threw the ball precisely twice as many times as Dak Prescott did in that game.
While some believe Brady could go to a team like the Las Vegas Raiders, others still wonder if he’d be open to joining the San Francisco 49ers, should they even have a desire for Brady’s services anymore.
Whatever he decides, if Edelman is right, Brady won’t be returning to Tampa Bay.
