Clippers vs. Lakers prediction and odds for Tuesday, January 24 (Clips dominate rivalry)
By Peter Dewey
The battle for Los Angeles takes place on Tuesday night with the Los Angeles Clippers looking to make it 10 straight wins over the Los Angeles Lakers.
It’s crazy that the Clippers have dominated this series so much with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the other side, they’ve won the matchups this season by six and 13 points.
The Lakers have a loaded injury report for this game with Davis, Lonnie Walker IV and Austin Reaves all listed as out. James is listed as questionable, and this line would soar in the Clippers’ favor if he’s ruled out.
The Clips won’t have John Wall or Luke Kennard in this game, but it looks like both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George should be good to go.
The Lakers are just two games behind the Clippers, despite these teams being separated by six seeds in the Western Conference standings.
Do James and company pick up a game tonight?

Clippers vs. Lakers prediction and pick
With James’ status up in the air, I’m going to jump on the Clippers early in this one as 4.5-point favorites.
The Lakers come into this game off back-to-back wins, but their offense has heavily relied on James and Thomas Bryant with Davis sidelined, and the Clippers have the defense to slow them down.
This season, Tyronn Lue’s club ranks 10th in the NBA in defensive rating, although that has dropped over its last 10 games.
Still, we haven’t really seen the Clippers play at a full strength for most of the season, and their offense is slowly starting to improve (now 25th in the NBA) after their recent play.
The Lakers are just 10-19 against teams above .500 this season, and they are going to have a tough time keeping up with so many key scorers out.
Give me the Clips to take their 10th straight in this rivalry.
