WWE presents their annual Royal Rumble premium live event on Saturday, Jan. 28. Here’s what time the show will begin.

One of the most anticipated wrestling events of the year is WWE’s Royal Rumble. This is the official start of WrestleMania season, and the main event matches for that show will be determined.

On Saturday, Jan. 28, WWE presents the 2023 Royal Rumble event.

Of course, the headlining matches on that show will be the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, where the winners will earn main event championship matches at WrestleMania. There will be 30 participants in the men’s and women’s matches, where the winner will be the last person standing in the ring. The only way to eliminate an opponent is if they are thrown over the top rope and both of their feet hit the ringside floor.

Other matches on the card include Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens, Bianca Belair defending the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss, and Bray Wyatt facing LA Knight in a Pitch Black match.

According to reports from various outlets regarding the match card for the event, the Rumble match itself will be the first match of the night, meaning it should start as soon as the PPV event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The main card is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 28. There will be a kickoff show at 7:00 p.m. ET, where a panel will keep you posted on what happened in the lead up to the event, and there’s a possibility a match could be featured.

Where is WWE Royal Rumble 2023 taking place?

The Royal Rumble will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.  This venue previously hosted the event in 1997 and 2017. Stone Cold Steve Austin (1997) and Randy Orton (2017) won those respective years’ 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal.
