WWE Royal Rumble 2023 takes place on Saturday, Jan. 28. Here’s everything you need to know about the event, including what time it starts and how to watch it.
The 36th edition of the WWE Royal Rumble match has arrived. On Saturday, Jan. 28, WWE holds their annual premium live event at the Alamadome in San Antonio, Texas.
At the show, the focus will be placed on the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. 30 participants will take part in each match, with the winner earning a world championship match at WrestleMania 39, set to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. on Saturday, Apr. 1 and Sunday, Apr. 2. The only way to win the match is for the 29 other competitors to be thrown over the top rope and both feet hitting the ringside floor. The winner will be the last person standing.
There are three other matches scheduled for the card, such as Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Bianca Belair vs. Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship, and Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight in a Pitch Black match.

The main card for the show will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET. There will be a kickoff show at 7:00 p.m. ET, which will catch you up on all of the stories leading up to the event.
What is the theme song for WWE Royal Rumble 2023?
The theme song for WWE Royal Rumble is “SOLD OUT” by country music singer Hardy. The song is featured off of his album, “the Mockingbird and THE CROW.” Hardy will be performing at the event.
How to watch/live stream WWE Royal Rumble 2023
