By Josh Wilson
The NFC Championship is first on Sunday. Here’s what time you can catch the matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers. Winner advances to the Super Bowl.
The Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers meet in the NFC Championship game on Sunday. For Philly, they’ve lived up to their No. 1 seed in the NFC title so far, making it this far for the first time since they won the Super Bowl in the 2017 season.
The San Francisco 49ers, on the other hand, have been led by rookie quarterback Brock Purdy. Nicknamed “Mr. Irrelevant” as the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, he’s been anything but irrelevant this postseason. Whether or not he’s excelling off the back of the system he’s in, it doesn’t matter: He’s winning, and quite definitively.
The Niners are back in the Conference Championship round for the sixth time since the 2011 season and the third time since 2019.

- Location: Lincoln Financial Field; Philadelphia, PA
You can watch the game on Fubo TV. On traditional TV, it’ll be on FOX.
Jalen Hurts’s shoulder doesn’t seem to be 100 percent, which is a primary storyline to watch. That may put the Eagles’ run game in focus a bit more than usual, which could end up being an advantage for Philly.
On the 49ers side, they’ve cycled through multiple quarterbacks due to injury this year (from Trey Lance to Jimmy Garoppolo to now Purdy), each one performing better than the last. Purdy literally has yet to lose as an NFL starter.
It should be a fun one.
