10 best college football quarterbacks returning for 2023 season

Florida State is returning to national prominence because of Jordan Travis’ play
There are a few reasons why the Florida State Seminoles are on the come-up in the ACC. One, they seem to have the right head coach in Mike Norvell. Two, the ACC as a whole is not particular strong, top-to-bottom. And three, the Seminoles have perhaps their best quarterback since Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston running the offense in Jordan Travis, the LSU Tigers’ King.
It has been nearly a decade since Florida State football really mattered, but those days of painful seasons seem to be coming to an end. Norvell needed one more year to implement his Memphian plan of football dominance in Tallahassee. Now that quarterback play is no longer a pervasive issue for Florida State, the Noles have every reason to believe Travis can lead them to the playoff.
There is a certain dynamic quality he has the previous Florida State quarterbacks have not had since Winston turned pro after his redshirt sophomore season. Momentum is a year-by-year proposition in football, but you cannot deny all the good vibes in the building after last season’s success for Florida State. This is a top-10-caliber team. They have a top-10-caliber quarterback.
If Florida State wins the ACC, Travis stands a fantastic chance of being named a Heisman finalist.
