Warriors vs. Thunder prediction and odds for Monday, January 30 (Back OKC as a dog)
By Peter Dewey
The Golden State Warriors have been a completely different team on the road than at home this season, and they find themselves as road favorites against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.
Golden State is just 6-18 on the road this season, covering in just two of their 10 games as road favorites.
The Thunder are 7-3 in their last 10 games, moving into the No. 11 spot in the Western Conference and sitting just a game behind Golden State, who has the No. 6 seed. The West is wildly competitive this season, making every game important for each team.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder are down guard Lu Dort in this game, but they have thrived as home dogs all season long. Can OKC at least keep this game close with the Warriors?

Warriors vs. Thunder prediction and pick
This season, the Thunder have been elite as underdogs of five or more points, going 16-4-1 against the spread.
Not only that, but the Thunder have dominated as home dogs, going 9-6 against the spread and 8-7 straight up, which is extremely impressive considering some of the spread they’ve had at home this season.
I don’t trust this Golden State team on the road, mainly because of its defensive splits.
The Warriors are 28th in the NBA in defensive rating on the road this season, and that’s going to be problematic against an OKC team that stays undervalued in the market.
The Thunder are 13th in the NBA in net rating this season, while Golden State is actually all the way down at No. 21.
Yes, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole can light it up, but I can’t help but bet on the Thunder as dogs, one of my favorite plays all season.
