Kansas State vs. Kansas prediction and odds for Tuesday, January 31 (How to bet over/under)
By Reed Wallach
One of the biggest results of the season was on January 17th when Kansas State knocked off Kansas at home in overtime, 83-82.
That game snapped Kansas’ 10-game winning streak and sparked a downslide for the team that saw them lose the next two games. The Jayhawks got back on track at Kentucky over the weekend, but now will seek some revenge against their rival at Allen Fieldhouse.
Will the Jayhawks take care of business against the Wildcats laying a big number?

Kansas State vs. Kansas prediction and pick
This is a huge number for the Jayhawks, who were 1.5-point road favorites two weeks ago in Manhattan as many bettors flock to the revenge angle. I can’t lay this number given the fact that KU has had a grueling stretch of games over the last two weeks.
Kansas has played five games in the last 16 days, three of which have come on the road, and the team is bottom 20 in terms of bench minutes. The team is short of contributors and I wonder if their going to be a bit dreary after playing in Lexington on Saturday.
However, there should be a plenty of possessions in this one as Kansas State has played at the fastest tempo in Big 12 play this season, per KenPom.
However, the Wildcats defense is in line for some serious regression. The team is holding opponents to the lowest three-point percentage in league play at 26%, which simply won’t keep up against the potent Kanas offense. Further, K-State is the worst team in the conference on the defensive glass so there should be opportunities for KU to put points on the board.
I’m going to stay off the side with the inflated number on Kansas and instead go with the over.
