The 2023 NHL Stadium Series is right around the corner, and here is everything you need to know about the much-anticipated event. 

The yearly NHL Stadium Series is just about here, and all hockey fans should make time to see it. Although it may not generate the same buzz as the NHL Winter Classic, it still brings provides us with another entertaining outdoor hockey game.

Yet, this year feels extra special, as we will see two excellent NHL teams play one another during the event, as the Carolina Hurricanes will be taking on the Washington Capitals. With these two clubs being Metropolitan Division rivals, it should certainly provide plenty of action, as they have some bad blood with one another. This, in turn, should only make it more entertaining for us hockey fans.

Most notably, we get to see star players like Alex Ovechkin and Sebastian Aho play against each other, so it has all the makings to be a game to remember.

2023 NHL Stadium Series Date: When is the outdoor game?

The Hurricanes will be hosting the Capitals at North Carolina State University’s Carter-Finlay Stadium on February 18, 2023. This is the first time that the Hurricanes will be playing an outdoor game, so it will be a historic event for the franchise. The Capitals, on the other hand, are appearing in their fourth-ever outdoor contest.
