A Cincinnati Bengals fan is getting called out by Chiefs fans for lying about their car getting broken into in Kansas City.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs battled in the AFC Championship Game for the second consecutive year. The Bengals were victorious last year to make it to Super Bowl 56, and were looking to make it two trips to the big game in a row. After a week of trash talk from the Bengals and even the mayor of Cincinnati, the Chiefs silenced the noise by picking up the 23-20 win.
One Bengals fan didn’t take the loss well, as they decided to post on Reddit, claiming that multiple cars parked at Arrowhead Stadium with Ohio license plates were broken into.
Well, one fan called the poster out on the claims, calling them lies. In fact, they said they did a reverse image search of the photo of the car that was broken into, and found out that it was actually posted in 2021. In fact, the photo belonged to this tweet.

The AFC Championship Game this past Sunday was a back-and-forth affair, with the Chiefs pulling ahead and the Bengals tying things up multiple times. After tying the game at 20-20 early in the fourth quarter, the Chiefs were able to take a late lead after a 45-yard field goal by Harrison Butker, which was set up by a clutch five-yard run by quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a first down, and getting an additional 15-yards on an unnecessary roughness penalty on Bengals defensive lineman Joseph Ossai. With that win, the Chiefs clinched their spot in Super Bowl 57 to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Some Cincinnati fans weren’t happy with the end result of the game, especially with how the game was called by officials. There was the instance in which Trey Hendrickson appeared to be held by Chiefs offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr., but it went uncalled. Then, there was the Chiefs being rewarded with another chance on third-and-nine due to the referees stopping the play because of a game clock error.
The Chiefs will look to win their third Lombardi Trophy in franchise history, while the Bengals look to spend their offseason building a roster that can win their first Super Bowl.
