Former NFL running back Arian Foster sarcastically fueled the āNFL is riggedā conspiracy, and it created for some hilarious memes from fans and even players.
During the AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, the term āNFL is riggedā began trending on social media.Ā That came from Bengals fans who were upset about what was going on, and other NFL fans who were watching the game.
For example, there was one instance in the game that received extra attention. That was a Chiefs offensive drive in the fourth quarter, where the Bengalsā defense appeared to have forced a punt after a third-and-nine play. The issue is, a referee blew their whistle trying to stop the play due to a game clock issue, but no one could hear it. After deliberation, the referees allowed the Chiefs to have a redo on that play.
The āNFL is Riggedā term trended for quite sometime after the game. Former Houston Texans running back Arian Foster fanned the flames of the conspiracy during his āMacrodosing Podcastā with Barstool Sports, sarcastically and jokingly saying that he received a script from the league in his locker before games.
āWe really dedicated to it, so it was more like, thatās what practice was about. It was about practicing the script,ā said Foster. āThis is what goes on, this is what we have to doā¦ā
