4 free agents the Steelers can sign thanks to increased salary cap

Steelers could sign Tremaine Edmunds
There is some chatter that the Steelers could re-sign former first-round pick Devin Bush at a lower price point, but he hasn’t shown much to deserve another opportunity in Pittsburgh. Rather than settling for less, the Steelers should sign a pair of brothers.
Tremaine Edmunds is a free agent, and one of the better linebacker in the NFL. He would pair well with Myles Jack, who was brought to Pittsburgh last offseason. Edmunds market value is a little over $11 million, per Spotrac.
Edmunds brother, Terrell, is a former first-round pick of the Steelers and is currently on the roster. Terrell Edmunds is a decent safety who improved this past season, and would have interest in a return to the Steel City to play alongside Minkah Fitzpatrick in the secondary. He’d likely be a more affordable option, as well, given how much money the Steelers currently have tied to their defense.
Behind The Steel Curtain listed Edmunds as an intriguing fit at LB for Pittsburgh:
"“There are some good inside backers in the upcoming free agent class. Not Shazier-good, but better than anyone on the current roster. Buffalo’s Tremaine Edmunds, brother of Steelers’ safety Terrell, is one such player. Edmunds is just 24 years old, and his size (6’5-250) and physicality make him well-suited to play the Buck.”"
Edmunds age and durability makes him an easy top option at linebacker, a position the Steelers have been trying to find a solution to for quite some time since the Ryan Shazier injury. Drafting another linebacker too high, as they did with Bush, isn’t the answer.
