Devin Booker has missed the past 21 games for the Phoenix Suns with a groin injury. Will he be back on the court tonight against the Nets?

It’s been a rough stretch for the Phoenix Suns since Devin Booker went down with a groin injury. He hasn’t played since Christmas Day and the Suns have gone 10-11 over that stretch, getting outscored by an average of 2.6 points per 100 possessions. They’ve explored trading Chris Paul and the pressure is mounting for them to make some sort of move before the trade deadline.

The return of Devin Booker would certainly help smooth things out and there have been rumblings that he could be back soon.

Will Devin Booker be available to play Monday, Feb. 7 against the Nets?

Booker is listed as probable in the NBA’s official injury report but the team has reported that he will be in the lineup against Brooklyn.

Booker is the Suns’ most dangerous offensive threat this season, averaging 27.1 points and 5.6 assists per game on a 58.5 true shooting percentage. The Suns have outscored opponents by 5.9 points per 100 possessions across the entire season when he’s been in the lineup.

The Nets are coming off the Kyrie Irving trade and could have their new additions, Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith on the court for the first time. The Nets will be without Kevin Durant and have lost eight of their last 13 games and could certainly use a win. They’re coming off an eight-point loss to the Clippers where second-year guard Cam Thomas scored 47 points, his second consecutive 40-point game.
