Brooklyn has made some serious changes over the past few days, trading both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. What does the Nets updated depth chart look like?

Between the trades of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, the Nets have sent out four players and brought in five new ones over the past two days. There could be several more trades on the way before the deadline at 3:00 p.m. ET and it’s not clear how quickly the Nets will attempt to rebuild or rest.

In the meantime, their roster and rotations look dramatically different with a slew of new faces at nearly every position.

Nets updated depth chart

  • Guard — Spencer Dinwiddie, Patty Mills, Joe Harris, Seth Curry, Cam Thomas, Edmund Sumner, Yuta Watanabe
  • Forward — Dorian Finney-Smith, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, Royce O’Neale
  • Big — Nic Claxton, Day’ron Sharpe

The Nets look especially flush with players who could fetch additional assets in other trades. Their forward rotation is loaded with toolsy wings and there is a lot of duplication. Crowder and O’Neale, in particular, are players who might be able to bring back additional first or second-round picks if the Nets want to roll with DFS, Bridges and Johnson.

In the backcourt, Mills, Harris and Curry are all fairly similar shooters who would have a lot of appeal for aspiring contenders and moving one of them could open even more minutes and opportunities for Cam Thomas, the second-year guard who is coming off three straight games of scoring 40 or more.

The big man rotation seems fairly locked down with Nic Claxton and the up-and-coming Sharpe.
