The Chiefs linebacker was in the right place at the right time and made the Eagles quarterback pay for his mistake, grabbing the ball and taking it to the endzone for a 36-yard score.

That huge defensive play came when the Chiefs needed it most. The Eagles had taken a 14-7 lead in the second quarter and had the ball back in Hurts’ hands with a chance to make it a two-score game.

However, the quarterback had a case of butterfingers and gave Kansas City an opportunity to tie it up in a matter of seconds. Bolton made it count.

The Chiefs drafted Bolton out of Missouri in 2021 in the second round. He started 17 games in 2022 with 180 total tackles. It’s safe to say that was the biggest play of his career.

Hurts proved he wasn’t shaken on the Eagles next possession when he led his team down the field for another touchdown. He ran it in from four years out with 2:20 left in the half.
