The big game is nearly here. Who did the experts pick to win Super Bowl 57 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles?

The Super Bowl is perhaps the biggest game of the year in American sports. And it’s finally here. Fittingly, the No. 1 seeds from each conference meet in the penultimate game of the 2022 NFL season. It’ll be the Kansas City Chiefs, who have been in three of the last four Super Bowls, against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Everyone from your office cubicle buddy to your grandmother is making a pick for this one, but what do the experts think?

Here’s where the picks are falling:

Super Bowl expert predictions: Who CBS analysts picked to win

  • Pete Prisco: Chiefs
  • Jason La Canfora: Eagles
  • Will Brinson: Eagles
  • Jared Dubin: Chiefs
  • Ryan Wilson: Chiefs
  • John Breech: Chiefs
  • Dave Richard: Eagles
  • Jamey Eisenberg: Chiefs

Almost a dead split here for CBS. It starts our tally at 5-3 Chiefs.

Super Bowl expert predictions: Who ESPN analysts picked to win

  • Bowen: Eagles
  • Clay: Eagles
  • Fowler: Eagles
  • Graziano: Chiefs
  • Reid: Chiefs
  • Wickersham: Eagles

ESPN’s picks are leaning Eagles. The running tally is now locked at 7.

Super Bowl expert predictions: Who Pro Football Talk picked to win

  • MDS: Chiefs by 3
  • Mike Florio: Chiefs by 3

Mike Florio’s thoughts from the prediction column:

"“What matters most is the presence of the best quarterback in football, a sure-fire Hall of Famer who may eventually earn a spot in the Canton Upper Room proposed by Deion Sanders. Mahomes. The Magic Man. The man among boys. The guy who finds a way to move the ball, to score points, and to do it in a way that is always far more entertaining than anything anyone else can muster. It’s time to win his second. On his way to possibly more.”"

This brings the running tally to advantage Chiefs, 9-7.

Super Bowl expert predictions: Who Sports Illustrated picked to win

  • Albert Breer: Chiefs by 3
  • Conor Orr: Eagles by 1
  • Greg Bishop: Eagles by 3
  • Michael Rosenberg: Chiefs by 4
  • Andrew Brandt: Eagles by 7
  • John Pluym: Chiefs by 3
  • Gary Gramling: Chiefs by 3
  • Mitch Goldich: Eagles by 4

Albert Breer had this to say for a bold prediction in the predictions column:

"“Someone other than Travis Kelce will lead the Chiefs in receiving yards. The Eagles have been really good against tight ends all year—only three have gone over 50 yards on them (the Titans’ Chigoziem Okonkwo, Saints’ Juwan Johnson, Steelers’ Pat Freiermuth), none have topped 70 yards, and Philly just held 49ers All-Pro George Kittle to three catches and 32 yards (though that has a bit of an asterisk, because of the Niners’ QB situation). So I trust Jonathan Gannon to have a plan to take out Kelce with the back end of his defense, and make Mahomes look elsewhere for answers in critical situations.”"

That brings the tally to 13-11, Chiefs.

Super Bowl expert predictions: FOX broadcast

  • Jimmy Johnson: Eagles
  • Michael Strahan: Eagles
  • Howie Roseman: Eagles
  • Terry Bradshaw: Eagles

That closes the tally at Eagles 15 picks, Chiefs 11 picks, of the experts included here.
