Tom Brady posts a cryptic quote on the first Valentine’s Day since Gisele Bündchen divorce. 

Valentine’s Day can be difficult for single people, even more so when you are fresh from a divorce like Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are. But it seems like Brady’s handling the day the same way many of us are … posting a quote about love that makes sense to no one but us.

The quote comes from spiritual guru Sadhguru and reads, “Love is not a transaction it is a certain exuberance and sweetness of your emotion,” (h/t People).

Of course, fans and media are trying to decide what this quote means, but in reality, it’s probably just a quote he liked and we’re all reaching.

On the other side, Bündchen is posting about the “pure love” she has for her two dogs.

The pair divorced in October 2023, mid-NFL season, which would ironically be Brady’s last.

“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” Brady wrote on social media at the time. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”

He announced his retirement (again) on Feb. 1.

“It won’t be long-winded, you only get one super-emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so. I…really thank you guys…so much,” he said in a video sitting on the beach. “To every single one of you, for supporting me, my family, my friends, teammates, my competitors. I could go on forever. There’s too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream.”
