What time does Tiger tee off at Genesis Invitational? How to watch Tiger Woods today
Tiger Woods is playing the 2023 Genesis Invitational in a rare PGA Tour start and we have when he tees off and how you can watch Tiger at Riviera.
It’s been more than two years since we’ve seen Tiger Woods play a regular PGA Tour event, but that changes this week as arguably the greatest golfer of all time is teeing it up at the 2023 Genesis Invitational.
Woods made his PGA Tour as a 16-year-old at the then-Los Angeles Open played at Riviera Country Club, which has since become the Genesis Invitational, back in 1992. He missed the cut that year and, shockingly, has never won at this venue, even since he became the host of the tournament. However, Tiger has notched three Top 10 finishes and one runner-up showing for his career at Riviera.
Seeing him on the course this week, though, is going to be special, especially with The Masters, where he made his return following his injuries resulting from a car crash after he hosted this exact tournament in 2021, looming less than two months away. You’ll want to watch. And we have you covered with what you need to do so.
What time does Tiger Woods tee off at Genesis Invitational?
For the first round of the Genesis on Thursday, Woods will be teeing off the first hole at 3:04 p.m. ET. He will then tee off on Friday at 10:24 a.m. ET for the second round of play. If he makes the cut, we will update you with his tee times for the third and fourth rounds of play.
In the first two rounds at Riviera, though, not only will you be able to watch Tiger play, but he’ll be playing alongside two of the other biggest stars in the game of golf as he’s been grouped with Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas for the first two rounds of the tournament.
How to watch Tiger Woods at Genesis Invitational
Watching Tiger Woods on Thursday and Friday should be quite simple.
On Thursday with his late tee time, Tiger and his group will have their own feed on PGA Tour Live, which is available to watch exclusively with a subscription to ESPN+. However, he will surely be featured heavily on the Golf Channel national broadcast, which will take the air at 4 p.m. ET, so you would be able to catch most of Woods’ round. You can also stream the Golf Channel broadcast with a subscription to FuboTV, which is available with a 7-day free trial for new users.
It will be all PGA Tour Live on Friday for the second round to watch Tiger with the early tee time. Once again, as he tees off at 10:24 a.m. ET, his group will be one of the featured groups and will have their own feed on ESPN+ that will show you every shot from his round along with McIlroy and Thomas.
