UFC Vegas 69: Who is Nazim Sadykhov
Who is Nazim Sadykhov?
On Saturday, UFC Vegas 69 will be taking place live from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, NV. The show will be headlined by a women’s flyweight bout between No.3 Jessica Andrade, and No. 10 Erin Blanchfield. The card will also feature a light heavyweight bout between Jordan Wright and Zac Pauga and a heavyweight bout between Josh Parisian and Jamal Pogues. On the prelims, amongst many other fights, will be a light heavyweight bout between Evan Elder and the debuting Nazim Sadykhov.
This fight marks Sadykhov’s first inside the UFC octagon, but the eighth in his professional career. His last fight came in the Contender Series where he bested Ahmad Suhail Hassanzada with a right hook in the third round. Sadykhov currently has seven wins and one loss in his professional MMA career.
His last loss came in November of 2016 against Juan Galarza at Ring of Combat 66. Throughout his next seven fights, Sadyhkov defeated seven formidable opponents defeating all of them in a rather quick fashion.
At UFC Vegas 69, Nazim Sadykhov looks to make his debut in a big way, knocking off Evan Elder
On Saturday, Sadykhov will be squaring off with Elder who looks to get back on track following his most recent loss against Preston Parsons at UFC Fight Night in April of 2022. Before that loss, Elder was undefeated, sitting at seven wins and zero losses. Elder looks to put most of his opponents away with his fist but is no stranger to a submission victory.
Elder picked one up against Tremiere Hollie back in 2019. Sadykhov is quite similar to Elder in that aspect. He has won five fights via knockout, picked up one win via unanimous decision, and has picked up one win, as well as one loss, via submission.
