When is the NFL Combine 2023?

Teams have the chance to watch draft prospects perform drills and interview them at the NFL Combine. Here’s when it takes place.
With the 2022 NFL season over, teams are now pivoting to offseason mode. Prior to the official start of the 2023 league year, all 32 teams will be traveling to Indianapolis, Ind. to attend the NFL Combine. The event has been held in the city since 1987, where it was held at the RCA Dome before moving over to the new home venue of the Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium.
At the NFL Combine, prospects will participate in various drills, get their official measurements, and speak with interested teams. For fans wondering when the event takes place, we have the answer for you.
When is the NFL Scouting Combine 2023?
The NFL Combine officially begins on Feb. 28 and ends on March 6.
Prospects will take part in drills on designated days based off of what position they play. Drills officially begin on Thursday, March 2, with defensive linemen and linebackers participating. On Friday, March 3, the day will be designated for defensive backs (cornerbacks and safeties). Saturday, March 4 will be quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends. Sunday, March 5 will see running backs and offensive linemen participating in drills.
The NFL Combine will be televised on NFL Network and streamed on the NFL app. As for what times each days of drills begins, we have the information for you:
- Thursday, March 2: Defensive linemen and Linebackers, 3:00 p.m. ET
- Friday, March 3: Defensive backs, 3:00 p.m. ET
- Saturday, March 4: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, 1:00 p.m. ET
- Sunday, March 5: Running backs and Offensive Linemen, 1:00 p.m. ET
