Who won the Daytona 500?

Here’s everything you need to know about the Daytona 500 which took place on Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has won the Dayton 500.

According to FOX News, Stenhouse Jr. beat out the former champ “Joey Logano on the final lap of overtime as a wreck involving Kyle Larson and several other drivers caused the caution flag to come out. Once the caution came out, Stenhouse was the leader and Logano finished in second.”

Daytona 500 prize money

According to Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, the  2023 Daytona 500 payout is $26,934,357. According to Sporting News, the payput totals from 2021 and 2022 are not known but “NASCAR announced a record $23.6 million purse in 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.”
