There are plenty of people in the world with awful tattoos, but one Eagles fan found the perfect fix for their ill-conceived Super Bowl champions ink.

Look to the person to your left, then to the person on your right. It’s almost certain that one of the three of you has a tattoo that you regret (don’t worry about looking this up, it’s definitely a statistical fact and not an anecdote I just made up). But leave it to a Philadelphia Eagles fan to figure out the best possible and most hilarious way to fix a bad tattoo.

In case you weren’t aware, the majority of the Eagles fanbase was quite confident that Jalen Hurts and the Birds were going to triumph over the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57. One fan, however, got a little bit too confident in an extremely permanent way.

This fan got a tattoo commemorating Philly’s Super Bowl victory in the Big Game. That, of course, didn’t happen. So what were they to do besides live the rest of their life with ink that celebrated the win that never happened for the Eagles?

Of course, they had to immortalize the tattoo with a giant meme — the Crying Jordan to be exact.

Eagles fan fixes Super Bowl champions tattoo with Crying Jordan meme

For as great as the Crying Jordan meme is as a fix to a terrible idea — particularly based on the timing — for this tattoo, it wasn’t the best idea. As one Twitter user suggested, having the crying Nick Sirianni over top of the ink would’ve made it truly legendary.

Unless this fan wants to go and put the crying Sirianni over top of the Crying Jordan, we might never get the use of a meme from the Eagles’ loss in the Super Bowl to poke fun at a tattoo saying that the team won. Welcome to the Metaverse, no Zuckerberg, I guess.

All in good fun, though, it’s good that this fan didn’t take the loss too hard, even after getting the tattoo. Sometimes, all you can turn to in trying times is memes, and they’ll be able to do so for the rest of their life.
