The New York Knicks and Washington Wizards are both back in action tonight for the first time since the all-star break. New York is sixth in the East at 33-27 and Washington is 10th, 28-30. We’ve missed betting on the NBA, so instead of just picking a side in the games tonight, let’s get involved with some prop bets.

It’s Julius Randle’s first chance at redemption from the abysmal showing in the three-point contest and everybody’s first chance to stretch their legs after a nice vacation. Here are my three favorite prop bets.

Knicks vs. Wizards Prop Bet Picks

  • Julius Randle under 2.5 three-point field goals (+128)
  • Kristaps Porzingis rebounds over 8.5 (+100)
  • RJ Barrett under 18.5 points (-111)

Julius Randle under 2.5 three-point field goals (+128)

Randle didn’t have a great showing as a shooter last weekend. The three-point contest might not be a great idea for guys shooting 33.8% from deep.

After having a week to think about that performance, and hear about it from his son,  I think Randle might just want to take it to the rim tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis rebounds over 8.5 (+100)

Porzingis has been solid against his team, but that’s baked into the points total for him. He averages 20.9 points in seven games against New York, but his total is at 23.5. Instead I’ll go to rebounds, more of an effort stat. He’s grabbing 8.6 boards a game this year and averages 9.4 in his games against New York.

RJ Barrett under 18.5 points (-111)

RJ Barrett got his extension from the Knicks this offseason, but he might be a part of their closing group soon. Josh Hart is exactly the type of player that Tom Thibodeau loves and trusts. A defense-first wing that can shoot it and makes good decisions. I could see Barrett getting phased out in favor of Hart and Quentin Grimes on the wing.
