The latest NFL rumors are focused on the Cowboys, Saints, and the contract Daniel Jones is seeking out.

It’s rumor season in the NFL with the turning of the 2022 league calendar to 2023 on its way in just a few weeks. Free agency and the offseason trade window are about to speed up drastically.

Today in our rumor roundup, we have information on the Jaguars and securing some important depth, the Saints creating cap space out of thin air, the Cowboys coaching staff, and what has now become a daily follow of news on Daniel Jones and the contract he’s seeking this offseason.

Jaguars secure QB depth

The Jacksonville Jaguars are set with quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who led them to a playoff win in 2022, their first since 2017. But depth is never a bad thing, and the Jags are keeping things consistent.

The team signed C.J. Beathard to an extension. Beathard has been Lawrence’s backup for the entirety of his brief career so far.

Before signing with Jacksonville, Beathard spent three seasons with the 49ers.
