Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury live results [UPDATED]

After about a year-and-a-half of waiting, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will finally clash in the main event of Sunday’s boxing card taking place in Saudi Arabia.

The two were originally supposed to meet in December 2021, but Fury pulled out of the bout due to injury. They then were scheduled to face off in August before travel issues for Fury caused another postponement.

After a successful YouTuber boxing amateur bout in August 2018, the younger Paul brother made his way into professional boxing, eventually debuting with a first-round TKO of fellow social media star AnEsonGib in January 2020.

Since then, Paul has remained unbeaten with victories over former NBA star Nate Robinson and former MMA champions Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice) and Anderson Silva.

Fury, the younger half-brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, made his professional boxing debut in December 2018 and is 8-0 in the ring heading into this fight. He most recently competed in April — as part of the undercard for Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte — defeating Daniel Bocianski.

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman has hinted the winner of this fight will be placed in the WBC cruiserweight rankings. Fury is technically the true first boxer that Paul will have ever faced, though Fury doesn’t have any truly noteworthy former opponents.

The undercard will be headlined by Ilunga Makabu defending the WBC cruiserweight title against former super middleweight and light heavyweight champion Badou Jack.
