WNBA Free Agency shockers

1. Dallas Wings

The Dallas Wings have turned things around in Texas but they still have ways to go. The franchise made the playoffs the last two seasons and ended the 2022 season in sixth place with an 18-18 record.

Dallas continues to grow with their focus on developing the team around Satou Saballay, Arike Ogunbowale, and Teaira McCowan as of late.

The Wings are a shocker for free agency because of the trades that the front office has made. The team landed Crystal Dangerfield and former Defensive Player of the year (2019) Natasha Howard in a trade.

Another trade that went under the radar is Dallas landing Diamond Deshields who has been working her way back on the court after her surgery to remove a mass on her spine.

With the moves that Dallas has made and the upcoming draft, this team can make noise and shock some people (no pun intended).
