Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is about to enter free agency, but before he does, he took another shot at the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles didnāt take kindly to JuJu Smith-Schusterās Valentineās Day card, in which he posted a photo of James Bradberry with the captionĀ āIāll hold you when it matters most.ā
As funny as that message was, it was only a week after the Super Bowl, which was essentially clinched by Bradberryās hold of Smith-Schuster on a critical third down. To his credit, Bradberry admitted the call was correct after the game, much to the chagrin of Philly sports fans who falsely assumed they were jobbed by the officiating crew.
Eagles teammates came to Bradberryās defense after the V-Day card incident. When Smith-Schuster posted another video trolling Bradberry and Philadelphiaās football team this week, A.J. Brown threatened violence.
The video A.J. Brown referenced in his message appears to be this one.
Thatās an elaborate plot just to troll Eagles fans. In what could be the highlight of Smith-Schusterās career, can we really blame him for being a bit provocative?
Eagles, A.J. Brown still have beef with JuJu Smith-Schuster
āYou really need to find you somebody else to play with,ā Brown said.Ā āDonāt let that ring get you beat tf up.ā
It should be noted that Brown deleted his tweet after the fact. In his direct message to Smith-Schuster, Brown made a less-veiled threat, saying āYou better go to Cabo and enjoy your ring and stop fāking w me.ā
This isnāt the first time Brown has come after Smith-Schuster, as the Valentineās Day incident prompted a response on social media as well.
āFirst off congratulations. Yāall deserve it,ā Brown beganĀ on Twitter. āThis is lame. You was on the way out the league before mahomes resurrected your career on your 1 year deal Tik-Tok boy. He admitted that he grabbed you but donāt act like your like that or ever was. But congratulations again!ā
While Brown exaggerated by suggesting Smith-Schuster was a fringe roster talent (he wasnāt and now could be one of the higher-paid wideouts in free agency), itās clear the Eagles canāt stop thinking about what could have been.
