5. Tyjae Spears, Tulane

Former Tulane Green Wave running back Tyjae Spears made a big splash at the Senior Bowl, but that was hardly the first time he put on a show.

Standing 5-foot-11 and 195-pounds, Spears passes the eye test with flying colors. He pairs a bricked-up frame with elite burst and breakaway speed, and if you can’t see how special he is on film, he will prove you wrong on the stat sheet. In 2022 he racked up over 1,800 all-purpose yards and 21 total touchdowns — 19 on the ground. 15 of his final 20 collegiate games were 100-yard performances, and he rushed for 404 yards and 5 touchdowns in his final two games.

Tyjae is every little bit of a top-75 prospect in this year’s draft, and when counting down the top 10 running backs in the class it feels impossible to keep him out of the top-5. The American Conference’s Player of the Year will bring an incredibly versatile skillset to the NFL and will be a must-have in your dynasty league.

Watch him work against UCF in the conference title game, or vs USC in the Cotton Bowl and try to keep a straight face.
