Bahrain GP prediction
It’s clear to anyone who follows Formula 1 that it’s Red Bull that leads the way by a wide margin. If you needed to be convinced that it’s likely going to be the same story this season, Saturday’s qualifying session proved any doubters wrong.
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, the two Red Bull drivers, finish first and second in qualifying. The Ferrari cars came a distant (by F1 standards) third and fourth.
As a result, Verstappen is a -250 favorite to win the Bahrain GP.
You can lay the -250 juice on Verstappen if you’d like, but BetMGM Sportsbook is offering a prop bet at +800 that I absolutely love.
You can bet on Verstappen to win by 10+ seconds, have the fastest lap, and Red Bull to have the fastest pit stop at +800.
While that may seem like a lot that you’d need to go right, it’s not as much as you think if you think Red Bull is the best team in Formula 1. Red Bull often had the fastest pit stops last season, and Verstappen had several dominant wins that crossed the 10-second threshold.
If you want a longshot bet but you also want to back Red Bull, this bet is the way to go.
