When is the Big Ten Championship Final?

March Madness is around the corner after the conference championship tournaments. Here is when the Big Ten Championship Final takes place.
It is the third month of 2023, which means that it is March Madness season. Before the 68-team tournaments in men’s and women’s basketball begin, conference championships need to be determined.
The Big Ten will officially tip off their conference championship tournament on Wednesday, March 8. Once the season ended, the Purdue Boilermakers stood atop the Big Ten standings with a 26-5 overall record and a 15-5 conference record. They will hold the No. 1 seed.

When is the Big Ten Championship Final?
The Big Ten Championship Final will be held on Sunday, March 12, at 3:00 p.m. ET. The game, and all other Big Ten tournament games, will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Ill.
All 14 teams in the conference will be participating in this tournament, with the winner earning an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The first round begins on March 8, featuring the No. 12 seed facing the No. 13 seed and the No. 11 seed taking on the No. 14 seed.
Below is how the bracket for the tournament looks entering the final day of the regular season, March 5. Purdue, Iowa, Maryland, and Northwestern each have the top four seeds and a bye into the third round.
Last year, the Iowa Hawkeyes won the Big Ten championship after they defeated the Purdue Boiler Makers, 75-68. But, Iowa didn’t have a long stay in the NCAA Tournament, losing 67-63 to the 12th-seeded Richmond Spiders.
The NCAA Tournament officially begins on March 14 and concludes with the National Championship Game on Apr. 3.
