There are 10 NHL games to watch and bet on tonight, so it’d be a shame if we didn’t wager on a few player props.

If you want my favorite bets on sides and totals, you can check them out here.

In this article, I’m going to focus on player props, and I have two locked in for tonight.

Let’s dive into them.

Best NHL prop bets for Tuesday, March 7

  • Ilya Samsonov OVER 28.5 saves
  • Alex Killorn OVER 0.5 points (-120)
  • Jaden Schwartz OVER 2.5 shots on goal

Ilya Samsonov OVER 28.5 saves

Ilya Samsonov will get the start in net for the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, as they hit the road to take on the New Jersey Devils.

Over each team’s last 10 games, the Devils have the second most shots on goal per 60 minutes, averaging 36.22 per game. That means Samsonov should have his hands full tonight. He has faced an average of 29.66 shots per road start, so I expect his save total to go over 28.5 tonight.

Alex Killorn OVER 0.5 points (-120)

The Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Philadelphia Flyers tonight, who have allowed 4.08 goals per 60 minutes over their last 10 games. That leaves the Lightning in a great spot to bounce back after a terrible 6-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.

I’ll bet on Alex Killorn to record at least one point tonight. He’s set to play on the second line tonight, and has at least one point in two of his last three games. I’ll bank on him getting another tonight.

Jaden Schwartz OVER 2.5 shots on goal

Jaden Schwartz and the Seattle Kraken will host the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Ducks are allowing the most shots on goal per 60 minutes over each team’s last 10 games at 41.01.

Schwartz has averaged 2.29 shots on goal per game this season, and he has hit at least three shots on goal in three-straight games. He’s in a great spot to reach at least three shots again tonight.

Odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
