From Opening Day to the trade deadline, here are all the important dates you’ll need to know to follow the 2023 MLB season.

The 2023 MLB season couldn’t come sooner for baseball fans, and it’ll be a season forever etched into history. For the first time ever, all 30 teams in the MLB will play each other in the league’s attempts to create a more equal and balanced schedule.

Under the new format, every team will play at least one series against every other team, à la the NBA and the NHL. That means fewer divisional games (52 compared to 76), fewer intraleague games (64 compared to 66), and many more interleague games (46 compared to 20).
