The Tigers are now the latest No. 15 seed to send the No. 2 seed home in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

Last year, the Saint Peter’s Peacocks pulled off a huge victory over the heavily favored Kentucky Wildcats. From there, they defeated the No. 7 Murray State Racers and No. 3 Purdue Boilermakers to reach the Elite Eight. But, Saint Peter’s fell to the North Carolina Tar Heels.

In 2021, the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles defeated the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, and went on a run to the Sweet 16. After defeating the No. 7 Florida Gators, Oral Roberts fell to the No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks.

On Selection Sunday, Princeton defeated the Yale Bulldogs to win the Ivy League Tournament. Four days later, they secured a gigantic upset victory over the Pac-12 Tournament Champions. Could Princeton experience a similar magical run as Saint Peter’s and Oral Roberts? Well, first things first, they will have to get past the No. 7 Missouri Tigers, who defeated the No. 10 Utah State Aggies.
