These are all the picks the Dallas Cowboys will have entering the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.

The Dallas Cowboys will not be alone in trying to get better as a team in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Dallas may not have won its division a year ago, but the Cowboys were still able to win a road playoff game, albeit over a reeling Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that was not the least bit good. In truth, Dallas finished about where everyone thought the Cowboys would finish: A second-place team losing an absolute heartbreaker in a complete meltdown in the early stages of the playoffs.

But with serious Super Bowl aspirations, let’s see what picks their front office has to work with.

Dallas Cowboys 2023 NFL Draft picks: Where are they picking this spring?

Here is a list of every pick the Cowboys will have this spring in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.

  • Round 1, No. 26 overall
  • Round 2, No. 58 overall
  • Round 3, No. 90 overall
  • Round 4, No. 129 overall
  • Round 5, No. 169 overall*
  • Round 6, No. 212 overall*
  • Round 7, No. 244 overall

* denotes a compensatory selection

Dallas has one pick in each round of the draft. This includes three top-100 picks, which are No. 26 overall in the first round, No. 58 overall in the second round and No. 90 overall in the third round. Since the Cowboys were a playoff team that won a postseason game a year ago, they are picking towards the back-end of each round of the draft. They do have two compensatory picks as well.

With a healthy sampling of seven picks this spring, the Cowboys can do some combination of three things. They can stand pat and take players with their own picks, they can give up a few picks, now and in the future, to move up to get their guy, or they can trade back to accumulate more assets and whatnot. Simply put, the Cowboys will have tremendous flexibility in this draft.

However, do not expect for the Cowboys to be trading up into the top 10 of the first round. They would need to move up 16 picks to even get to No. 10. That is not happening because the No. 10 pick belongs to the arch rival Philadelphia Eagles. So in that case, they would have to move up 17 picks in a deal with the Chicago Bears now picking at No. 9. This is too big of a jump to really go up.

Look for Dallas to end up picking somewhere between five and nine players in the 2023 NFL Draft.
