3 teams that should swoop in for Odell Beckham Jr. with Cowboys out of race
After acquiring Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans, the Dallas Cowboys are out of the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes.
The Dallas Cowboys were one of the teams that were most linked to Odell Beckham Jr. this free agency period, but now they are likely out of the running after opting to acquire Cooks instead. As a result, Beckham Jr. will be sporting a different jersey once the 2023 regular season is here.
When noting that Beckham Jr. is a high-impact wide receiver who is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time Super Bowl champion, he should have zero trouble finding a home. Furthermore, with so many free-agent wide receivers off the board as well, his market should only grow from here.
Let’s look at three teams who should make a push to sign him now.

3. Cleveland Browns
Could a reunion between Odell Beckham Jr. and the Cleveland Browns make sense? On paper, there certainly could be a match there.
It is apparent that Cleveland needs to improve at the wide receiver position if they want to emerge as a playoff team in the AFC, and bringing in a player of Beckham Jr.’s caliber would do just that after the team traded for Amari Cooper last offseason.
With that, the Browns should be more aggressive in free agency when noting that they finished last season at the bottom of the AFC North with a 7-10 record. Thus far, Cleveland has made a number of heralded moves to improve the defense.
Yet, bringing back Beckham Jr. could be a way to help them get things back on track, specifically in providing a spark for the offense. Furthermore, a combination of Deshaun Watson and Beckham Jr. has the potential to be lethal.
